NBC KICKS OFF THE DABO MSHIKO, DEPOSIT AND WIN CAMPAIGN

The National Bank of Commerce (NBC) today has launched a two and half month campaign aimed at encouraging banking customers to build a saving culture by depositing money into their accounts and offering them an opportunity to double their money. The Deposit and Win campaign is known as Dabo Mshiko. The campaign was launched at the NBC Corporate branch being part of the banks celebrations to mark 45 years of banking excellence, where several lucky customers will be rewarded with double the amount deposited in their accounts.Speaking at the Occasion, NBC’s Head of Retail Banking, Mr. Mmoloki Legodu said, “We feel it’s the right time to reward our customers for the loyalty and support given to us for all these years, and what better way than to encourage them to learn to save and reward them for doing so.” Mr. Legodu also said, “This is our unique way of celebrating our 45 years of banking excellence with our NBC family”.Also present at the occasion was NBC Retail Banking Head of Sales, Mr. William Kallaghe who added, “It doesn’t matter how much you deposit, If you are lucky to be selected during the draw, you could win any amount which you had deposited, whether it is shs10, 000 or 10,000,000shs, the rules are quite simple, just deposit money into your NBC TZS personal current account, TZS ordinary savings account or even your Malengo Savings Account and you stand a chance to have your money doubled”.It is not the first time NBC is running such a campaign to reward its customers, as a similar campaign was conducted in 2009 for Malengo account holders, which saw loyal NBC customers win various cash prizes for a 3 month period. Two weeks ago, the bank launched another campaign for its Islamic Account holders, known as the NBC Hajj campaign which will see two lucky customers win fully paid packages for two to perform Hajj in October 2012. Winners for the campaign which was launched today will be selected on a monthly basis, where a draw will take place at the end of every month and ten lucky winners will stand a chance to have their money doubled in their accounts.
