MKOMBOZI COMMERCIAL BANK PLC TO ADD 2ND DAR BRANCH

Mkombozi Commercial Bank PLC is expecting to open a new branch by April this year at Msimbazi center in Dar es Salaam which will attract 12 new employments.
“Currently engineers and technicians are at final stages of rehabilitating the building which will be used for banking services,” its Managing Director Edwina Lupembe revealed during an interview with Corporate Digest.
“We have three branches approved to commence business by Bank of Tanzania including Mwanza Branch, Msimbazi and Kariakoo branch,” she added.
“We expect by the end of August this year to have the Kariakoo branch operational while preparing to enter Moshi though this is subject to approval from BoT," she added.
“We decided to join forces with Umoja Switch consortium which has ATM outlets all over the country to increment of outreach which involves more than 21 banks with many branches including Community banks,” she added.
She also added that the bank from its name “Mkombozi”  main intention is to support all people without discrimination, citing that her bank allows a common people to open a new accounts at the expense of  Tsh 15,000/= for saving account.
She added that her bank is at good position in terms of assets whereby its deposits rose from 16.4Bl in 2010 to Tsh 21.9BL as at 2011 December.
Shareholder Equity (Capital) made a rise from Tsh8.1B in December 2010 to Tsh10.1B by December 2011 and got a credit jump from Tsh6.6B to Tsh11.4B while its total assets rose from Tsh25.1B to Tsh33.B for 2011.
“We invite people to come open an account with us because Mkombozi Bank is growing tremendously and in few years to come we will be one of the most leading commercial banks in the industry” she projected.
We are also asking the Tanzanian public to buy shares which are available in all our branches at Tshs 1000 so that we can raise more capital for our operations in the country.
Mkombozi targets small and medium sized entrepreneurs, companies, SACCOS, social enterprises such as schools, universities and corporations
